2 Night Hawk

Great long weekend with family at 2 Night Hawk. 2 min walk to the beach, 5 min from shopping and the kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay again.

Trip was wonderful,house was good size. Close to beach,private lots of room. One problem pool was too hot. Called they came out said problem fix but next day was hot again. Said it was automatic heated.Sounded a little crazy. Needed heat off. Owner's should look into this problem. We will definitely rent again .

This home was fantastic! But the pool was such a nice bonus. There was not a single amenity we needed that was not there. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys as well. All beds were comfortable and the upstairs bonus room is basically a sixth bedroom with its own bath. It’s advertised as 3 baths but it’s 4 full baths. Even my mother who is 89 was able to walk to the beach because it’s so close! We had no issues! Book this home as it will not disappoint! Will definitely stay here again!! Thank you for helping us build some wonderful memories!!!

We love this property! This is our 4th or 5th time staying at this house with extended family for our annual beach trip. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and lots to entertain a variety of ages. Easy walk to beach. Dog friendly with multiple fenced off areas. Love the quiet as it’s a little further away from the hustle of Coligny circle but also conveniently a short walk or bike ride away. We hope to stay here for many years to come!

We appreciated that the entire property was fenced in for our small dog. The pool is great. We bring all of our own stuff with us, but it was nice that the house had starter kits of soap, dish soap, paper products, etc. in case we had forgotten anything. The rental company was easy to work with. We had one little issue with the pool heat and they had it resolved almost immediately. We've been coming to the island for decades and this is the first time we've wanted to book a rental again for the next year. We look forward to coming back to 2 Night Hawk again.

Last year we had an issue with the keurig coffee maker and the dishwasher. We were thrilled to find a new keurig and dishwasher as well. We did have 2 issues with the master bathroom toilet. Response from manager/maintenance was quick and they were able to fix the problem quickly as well.

We wanted a home with space for gathering and young adults to have their own space. We also brought our dog and the fenced yard was appealing. It has a large grass area for pet and can be kept away from pool if needed. Three large areas for lots of people to gather. Home was everything they advertised and was pleased with the experience. Wish they did supply a few essentials, more trash bags for kitchen and foil/plastic wrap for food storage. Didn't think I had to bring and had to purchase. Not a big deal, just always had at homes that we have rented in the past. Walk two homes to the beach and bikes made it complete. Would rent again. Enjoy!

We travel with older dogs so the house was perfect for us with no stairs since most of the living space is on the first floor. The fenced yard and proximity to the beach was great too. Even our 14 year old dog could make the easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The internet went down twice which was a hassle but that’s a Sprectrum issue. The property managers were quick to help us with the internet issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My extended family of 7 adults and one 3 y.o. stayed here late October for one week. There were many positives about this rental home. First, it was a 2 minute walk to the beach and you do not need to cross a busy street.There were 3 separate living areas: the front room, a separate living room, and an upstairs room. That means that several people could be doing a puzzle in the front room, others watching TV in the living room, and others doing yoga upstairs. The house was extremely clean. There is an outdoor shed which holds pool tools, beach chairs and a beach umbrella.This was really helpful. The master suite was newly renovated and beautiful. One of the downstairs bathrooms is very dated and in need of an upgrade. The other bathrooms appeared recently renovated.The kitchen is large and has all that is needed, including a Keurig, a drip coffee maker, a hand mixer, and many pots/pans/utensils/serving trays, etc. They provide only a small container of dishwashing detergent, and no sponge, so make sure to bring extra. The primary negative is that there is no view of the beach except for a tiny view from the upstairs outside porch. Despite this negative, I highly recommend this beach house.

Our only issue this year was with the master shower not draining and not delivering hot water for 2 days of our trip. We did call, but the repairman failed to show. Otherwise, great home with a well-stocked kitchen and wonderful common areas. We will likely return in the future.

This modern updated home easily accommodated our family of 12. It was beautiful without being ostentatious, well-equipped for cooking group dinners, with all the equipment we needed. Cleanliness is on top of my list and it gets A-plus for that! Corn Hole, shuffle board, floats for the pool, meant no down time. Bicycles were an extra plus! Plenty of sitting areas, tvs, and just a very, very short walk to the beach. Lastly, my call to prop manager was returned promptly and knowledgeably. Only downside for us was that this neighborhood has limited parking. However, Prop Manger suggested overflow parking about 1 mile away. Can you tell we loved this house??!!

We ourselves have owned on the Island since 1984 and sold our properties in 2018. This property did not disappoint. The home was very clean and well mapped out for a larger family. Plenty of bedrooms, sitting areas & living areas throughout the house. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in. The pool in the back yard was awesome. The owners provided bikes and beach chairs for our use. The beach was literally 4 houses away and less than 5 minute walk. For the location, size of the property and amenities, this price is a real value. Lastly, our daughter forgot her pillow on the way home. We called the management company from I-95 and they located the pillow and FedEx’ed back to us. We had it the next day !!

We loved the 1 minute walk to the beach everyday! No traffic at all. The pool was so nice for early morning and late afternoon swims. Spacious home. Overall a clean home. Could use a deep clean soon. Surfaces were clean but dust on windowsills and sticky residue/food on the kitchen cabinets. Sofa mattress was replaced the first day we were there as we found pencils and pieces. Property Manager was easy to work with and responded very quickly. Fixed the ice maker the same day I called. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been traveling to HHI for over 25 years with our family and have stayed in several locations over the years— This house was a treat! Loved the location- 5 houses from beach access far enough away from Coligny public beach, but close enough if you want to stroll down for an afternoon drink or to shop! The home is designed well for all ages, plenty of space! (We had 10 adults -grown college age kids and 4 parents) And the yard was perfect for our dog. WiFi was reliable for our remote work needs, and parking for 4 cars. We would definitely rent again!

The purpose of the trip was for a weekend retreat for the lawyers at our law firm. So, we actually worked on Friday and Saturday morning, but then, in the afternoons, the beach was a block away. And everything we wanted to do was in driving distance. Plus, we had some amazing bike rides and excursions.The location of the property could not have been better. The house was a perfect set-up for us, and the pool and other amenities were outstanding. We are already excited to come back!

There were a few issues-the air conditioning upstairs had some problems, the internet was pretty slow/unreliable, and the showers were very slow to drain. Luckily, the air conditioning and showers were immediately addressed and we had no further issues there. The internet was addressed, but continued to be unreliable. A few of us had work to do while there, so it was a bit annoying, but we made do. Overall, we had a good experience and the short walk to the beach was especially wonderful. I would rent this house again!

This rental is amazing - the house is even better then picture and described. It is also one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in. Layout and private pool were amazing for large family vacation. Super close to the beach too. Can't compliment this location/home more - you won't regret renting this location for a family stay. The kitchen and large connected family room are perfect for family time, and the master bedroom and bath are excellent. The VRBO property manager was super responsive during our stay, when there was an issue with the pool heating. Book your stay at this location with VRBO with confidence. Everyone on our trip couldn't have raved more about the location - it made our time in Hilton Head even better.

This property was in a great location, a short walk to the beach and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Less than a mile away are some shops and restaurants as well. We enjoyed our getaway here in this unique house and would come again.

Fantastic property location. Great house for our three kids and four grandkids! My wife and I highly recommend it for any large family function. Really responsive and professional property manager, flexible and easy to work with. We’ll be back!

Great location. I’ve stayed at all ends of the beach in HHI and hands down think N Forest beach is the best. Beautiful uncrowded stretch of beach, and central to all HHI amenities. The property itself was fantastic for our 4 generation family vacation. 3 BRs on one side of the house, 2 on the other and 3 separate seating / lounge areas gave us plenty of room to spread out. I believe they recently upgraded the dining table to accommodate 8 which was nice. Great pool area that gets a lot of sun during the day. Generally very clean and everything in good working order. Could use a deep clean (areas under beds and couches kind of dusty and a few scraps of paper). Only an issue because little kids tend to crawl everywhere. Could also use a WiFi extender to improve signal on the 2nd floor. These are just suggestions, not criticism. Overall the house is just great, highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Bikes available and were used and appreciated by many of our guests. House was beautiful, beds very comfortable. Pool was a plus for end of day swims. Comfortably slept 13 people with room to spare. We had some minor issues which we attended to immediately when the management company was notified. Would definitely recommend!

Forest beach is our favorite location, quiet wide beach, and central location to all Island amenities. The set up of this property is great for families, or groups of friends. 3BRs on one side of the house, 2 on the other, with 3 separate seating/lounging areas. Dining table for 8 (new I think), beautiful sunny pool area, and a great fenced yard for your furry friends. Clean and well equipped and maintained (although the cleaners should give an occasional dusting under the beds and other furniture). A WiFi extender to improve signal upstairs would also be a nice add. Overall, great property though, already booked again for next year!

The grass area to the right of the house was excellent for the two small dogs who were with us. The location was terrific. Very close to beach in a well shaded quiet neighborhood.The kitchen was large and generally well equipped, although it could have used a few more cooking utensils.The outside of the house on the left was the exception to how well all else was maintained. It was totally neglected and seemed to be ground under repair. In contrast to the well fenced in areas around the rest of the house there were several areas along the left side of the house that were not. The rocking chair in the family room has seen better days.

Lovely home with great accommodations ! The bikes and beach chairs were such a bonus! Perfect street and easy, quick access to beach! Island Rentals of HH management are friendly and very quick to respond.. they made everything easy ! Definitely will be using this rental company again and staying in this house again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house! We had a large group of family and friends. Our son's wife was 5 months pregnant. We also brought our dogs. This house was the perfect location and layout for all of us. We appreciated the bikes and ordered 3 more to complete our crew. The house is in great shape. There are three things that I would suggest: 1. upgrade the two shared bathrooms. Those do not match the renovation of the rest of the house and are very outdated 2. Please put a deck table/chairs with umbrella out at pool. There was no place to eat outside as a group and this is where we spent 96% of our time. 3. place a gate between the pool area and washhouse for pets. We used our imagination so that we could keep the dogs in our site at all times. We were not comfortable letting them go on the side of the property where the beach shower if we could not see them. We are hoping to book this house again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

The set up was great with the bedrooms . I had 2 girls and 2 boys and they each had their own room and shared a bathroom. The master and loft room are in close proximity to the other rooms but far enough away for privacy. The pool however was my favorite part of the home!! Very nice . It wasn’t heated enough so I had to call property management and they turned it up to where it was suppose to be . Very helpful. The only downfall is that 2 of the four bathrooms could use a little updating , other then that there are no other negatives with this home. It is very well taken care of and I would rent there again !

Very clean, comfortable beds, very nicely decorated, pool was perfect for young and old(er), layout of the common spaces and bedrooms worked perfectly for times we had friends or family staying with us and the beautiful beach was a 2 minutes walk away. We enjoyed every minute of our 6 week stay. The only thing that would make it 6 stars/5 would be when last two bathrooms are updated and a light installed over the dining table. Thank-you for sharing your home with us!

It's been almost two weeks since our stay at this lovely home and I miss it so much. This is the perfect gathering place for a family - spacious bedrooms surrounding a central gathering area (and a bonus study/Florida Room). To top it off, there is an amazing hotel-like swimming pool with a waterfall and ample seating. In the front of the courtyard, there is an outdoor seating area with a really nice outdoor grill. This home has lots of surprises like skylights and pebbled walk-in showers but the best feature is a spiral staircase that leads to an airy loft with bunk beds and a gaming area that leads to a deck with a partial ocean view. I am looking forward to our next visit.

We loved the layout of the house. Ample space for families or multiple adult couples. The amenities were abundant. The house is very modern and each bedroom is a retreat unto itself. The upstairs bonus room/ bedroom is perfect for children. The pool makes leaving the home a difficult choice. You could stay and be totally relaxed and entertained at the house. Having the bikes to get around town and the short walk to the beach are an added bonus. Love the outdoor shower so we could go from beach to pool. It is a quiet oasis! We will be back.

There was still some work going on with the landscaping, but everything else was clean, finished and beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the pool and took full advantage of the bikes. It was the shortest walk to the beach too. The kitchen had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the grill as well. All in all, a wonderful vacation!
