Very dog friendly, we enjoyed as well. More places to hang towels would be nice, otherwise no complaints about the home which worked out very well for us and we will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was clean and spacious and very comfortable. Everything was close and we walked to the beach. The bikes were a big plus and the extra for the heated pool was well worth it. We appreciated the opportunity to extend our checkout time. We love this property! This is our 4th or 5th time staying at this house with extended family for our annual beach trip. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and lots to entertain a variety of ages. Easy walk to beach. Dog friendly with multiple fenced off areas. Love the quiet as it’s a little further away from the hustle of Coligny circle but also conveniently a short walk or bike ride away. We hope to stay here for many years to come!

Clean, spacious home with very short walk to beach. I would stay here again. Some suggestions (1) ensure sliding door in bathroom is functional before guests move in or fix the door hinge (was broken on arrival) (2) have someone pull the weeds on pool deck weekly - could have used a little bit more upkeep around the home. I actually weeded on day one (3) periodically powerwash the sidewalk lining the yard right outside door from living room

We had multiple family members with grown children and our dog! Kids loved the loft to hang out! Dog loved the fenced yard and grass area, worked perfectly for out needs. Home has separate areas to spread out and enjoy. We paid for the pool to be heated and that was a great decision for March, totally enjoyed being in the backyard. Wished there were some basic staples in kitchen to include plastic wrap/aluminum foil and trash bags. Had to go purchase. Very happy with the rental and would stay again.

We wanted a home with space for gathering and young adults to have their own space. We also brought our dog and the fenced yard was appealing. It has a large grass area for pet and can be kept away from pool if needed. Three large areas for lots of people to gather. Home was everything they advertised and was pleased with the experience. Wish they did supply a few essentials, more trash bags for kitchen and foil/plastic wrap for food storage. Didn't think I had to bring and had to purchase. Not a big deal, just always had at homes that we have rented in the past. Walk two homes to the beach and bikes made it complete. Would rent again. Enjoy!

Enjoyed our stay, plenty of room in home for everyone, kitchen is adequately stocked, pool was very nice; would be great to have some umbrellas or canopy in that area though. We actually set up our beach canopy to use when at pool. The beach is just a quick walk and the area is really nice. Enjoyed biking to Coligny and area shops. Parking for vehicles is tough . Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely return for another visit.

The property was in a great location! The bathtub & shower drains were clogged/slow draining. The water pressure was weak. Although we paid to heat the swimming pool for the entire week and called to report the lack of heat, it took until mid-stay for the pool service to fix/turn on the pool heater. The house was musty upon arrival but, was generally clean. The Island Rental folks were professional and tried to address the pool heat issue but unfortunately they subcontract the pool maintenance to a pool service that was short-staffed. The fact that the entire property is fenced was terrific for our dog.

We rented this house the week after Christmas, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The house layout, location, and amenities were great. The street was relatively quiet, with easy access to the beach. The weather was awesome too! We saw many beautiful sunrises, just 5 minutes' walk away.

We travel with older dogs so the house was perfect for us with no stairs since most of the living space is on the first floor. The fenced yard and proximity to the beach was great too. Even our 14 year old dog could make the easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The internet went down twice which was a hassle but that’s a Sprectrum issue. The property managers were quick to help us with the internet issues.

My extended family of 7 adults and one 3 y.o. stayed here late October for one week. There were many positives about this rental home. First, it was a 2 minute walk to the beach and you do not need to cross a busy street.
There were 3 separate living areas: the front room, a separate living room, and an upstairs room. That means that several people could be doing a puzzle in the front room, others watching TV in the living room, and others doing yoga upstairs. The house was extremely clean. There is an outdoor shed which holds pool tools, beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
This was really helpful. The master suite was newly renovated and beautiful. One of the downstairs bathrooms is very dated and in need of an upgrade.
The other bathrooms appeared recently renovated.
The kitchen is large and has all that is needed, including a Keurig, a drip coffee maker, a hand mixer, and many pots/pans/utensils/serving trays, etc. They provide only a small container of dishwashing detergent, and no sponge, so make sure to bring extra. The primary negative is that there is no view of the beach except for a tiny view from the upstairs outside porch. Despite this negative, I highly recommend this beach house.

We go on a Family Vacation with 8+ family members every year. We decided to go back to Hilton Head after a couple years absence. We ourselves have owned on the Island since 1984 and sold our properties in 2018. This property did not disappoint. The home was very clean and well mapped out for a larger family. Plenty of bedrooms, sitting areas & living areas throughout the house. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in. The pool in the back yard was awesome. For the location, size of the property and amenities, this price is a real value. Lastly, our daughter forgot her pillow on the way home. We called the management company from I-95 and they located the pillow and FedEx’ed back to us. We had it the next day !!

We ourselves have owned on the Island since 1984 and sold our properties in 2018. This property did not disappoint. The home was very clean and well mapped out for a larger family. Plenty of bedrooms, sitting areas & living areas throughout the house. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in. The pool in the back yard was awesome. Spacious, 100 yards from the beach, clean (could use a deep clean soon), manager responded quickly to ice maker maintenance and replaced the sofa bed mattress. Pool is beautiful and kids enjoyed several times a day. Well stocked kitchen. Used grill once.

We loved the 1 minute walk to the beach everyday! No traffic at all. The pool was so nice for early morning and late afternoon swims. Spacious home. Overall a clean home. Could use a deep clean soon. Surfaces were clean but dust on windowsills and sticky residue/food on the kitchen cabinets. Sofa mattress was replaced the first day we were there as we found pencils and pieces. Property Manager was easy to work with and responded very quickly. Fixed the ice maker the same day I called. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been traveling to HHI for over 25 years with our family and have stayed in several locations over the years— This house was a treat! Loved the location- 5 houses from beach access far enough away from Coligny public beach, but close enough if you want to stroll down for an afternoon drink or to shop! The home is designed well for all ages, plenty of space! (We had 10 adults -grown college age kids and 4 parents) And the yard was perfect for our dog. WiFi was reliable for our remote work needs, and parking for 4 cars. We would definitely rent again!

This house is in a great location and could be awesome. It needs some TLC for sure. We spent a week in this home with our large family - it states that the house sleeps 15. We only had 7 dinner plates and 5 salad bowls. Did not work for our 9 Adults and 2 babies. I called property management right away since we were eating in and it took them 2 days to bring us additional. Thank goodness I had brought paper plates with us. If a house can sleep 15 there should be an ample amount of dishes to support that. They had limited pans & skillets. The garbage disposal in the kitchen sink seems to be on its last leg. The cupboard door where the trash can is does not close properly. If you plan on cooking in (like we did) bring some of what you might need.

The bathroom sink in the master bedroom does not drain properly.
The front sitting area cushions are nasty and need replaced - they have been left out in the elements way too long. I was disappointed in this because it could be an awesome space to hang out while someone is cooking on the grill.

The upstairs pull out sofa had not been cleaned and in the sheets we found a pencil and almonds. Every possible bed should have been cleaned !!!!

Lastly, as far as my complaints - I knew this house was dog friendly even though we do not have a pet. Much to my surprise, several of the bed comforters had lots of dog hair on them. Plus the rug in the family room. I get that a house can be dog friendly but I feel it also needs to be clean. If a pet is there all used comforters, etc. need to be cleaned.

This is a great house and the lay out fit our large group very well. With a little fixing up I would give it a great score. I would recommend this house with some of the improvements listed above.

We had a great time at 2 Night Hawk. Six of us converged for a Thursday-Sunday adventure. The purpose of the trip was for a weekend retreat for the lawyers at our law firm. So, we actually worked on Friday and Saturday morning, but then, in the afternoons, the beach was a block away. And everything we wanted to do was in driving distance. Plus, we had some amazing bike rides and excursions.

The location of the property could not have been better. The house was a perfect set-up for us, and the pool and other amenities were outstanding. We are already excited to come back!

We’ve stayed in this house with 3-4 generations of family for the last two years and love it. We’ve been coming to HHI for 10+ years and this is by far our favorite property. Location is great, both to access the beach, and other amenities on HH. Layout of the house is great, plenty of room to spread out and fantastic fenced yard and pool. Found an issue with the dishwasher upon arrival, and the property manager had it sorted within an hour. The only criticism from our family (slightly OCD), is with regard to cleaning. Visible surfaces are nicely cleaned, but under beds and furniture needs occasional cleaning. Made the same suggestion in last years review, but did not see any improvement. Furnishings are very nice, but the shag carpet throw rug in the LR seems incompatible with beach living. Our dog found something in the carpet to graze of for the first hour we were in the house. We finally rolled up the rug and pushed to the side because we didn’t really want the kids sitting and playing on it. Not a huge deal, but some de-cluttering and alternate furniture choices would make it easier to keep clean as a rental property....especially in these uncertain times..

We had a great experience. There were a few issues-the air conditioning upstairs had some problems, the internet was pretty slow/unreliable, and the showers were very slow to drain. Luckily, the air conditioning and showers were immediately addressed and we had no further issues there. The internet was addressed, but continued to be unreliable. This rental is amazing - the house is even better then picture and described. It is also one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in. Layout and private pool were amazing for large family vacation. Super close to the beach too. Can't compliment this location/home more - you won't regret renting this location for a family stay. The kitchen and large connected family room are perfect for family time, and the master bedroom and bath are excellent. The VRBO property manager was super responsive during our stay, when there was an issue with the pool heating. Book your stay at this location with VRBO with confidence. Everyone on our trip couldn't have raved more about the location - it made our time in Hilton Head even better.

The home is quite spacious, the pool is wonderful and the location is perfect.
The walk to the beach is through the lovely neighborhood in which this home is located and just a few yards directly down a short path to the beach.There are a few negatives as follows: we were unable to obtain a comfortable sleeping temperature in the master BR. This may be have been attributable to our lack of knowledge regarding the programmable thermostat. The house was a bit dusty throughout and the French doors in the master BR were difficult to lock.
Lastly, we were contacted 2 hours prior to check-in by the management company asking us to move to another location related to a scheduling glitch on the owner’s behalf. We of course did not relocate but we found this to be exceptionally unprofessional. The management company simply should have offered another property to the owner and should have never contacted us for this request. Otherwise: all went well.

Great location. I’ve stayed at all ends of the beach in HHI and hands down think N Forest beach is the best. Beautiful uncrowded stretch of beach, and central to all HHI amenities. The property itself was fantastic for our 4 generation family vacation. 3 BRs on one side of the house, 2 on the other and 3 separate seating / lounge areas gave us plenty of room to spread out. I believe they recently upgraded the dining table to accommodate 8 which was nice. Great pool area that gets a lot of sun during the day. Generally very clean and everything in good working order. Could use a deep clean (areas under beds and couches kind of dusty and a few scraps of paper). Only an issue because little kids tend to crawl everywhere. Could also use a WiFi extender to improve signal on the 2nd floor. These are just suggestions, not criticism. Overall the house is just great, highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

The pool however was my favorite part of the home!! Very nice . It wasn’t heated enough so I had to call property management and they turned it up to where it was suppose to be . Very helpful. The only downfall is that 2 of the four bathrooms could use a little updating , other then that there are no other negatives with this home. It is very well taken care of and I would rent there again !

This property is exactly as described which doesn't always happen! Very clean, comfortable beds, very nicely decorated, pool was perfect for young and old(er), layout of the common spaces and bedrooms worked perfectly for times we had friends or family staying with us and the beautiful beach was a 2 minutes walk away. It's been almost two weeks since our stay at this lovely home and I miss it so much. This is the perfect gathering place for a family - spacious bedrooms surrounding a central gathering area (and a bonus study/Florida Room). To top it off, there is an amazing hotel-like swimming pool with a waterfall and ample seating. In the front of the courtyard, there is an outdoor seating area with a really nice outdoor grill. This home has lots of surprises like skylights and pebbled walk-in showers but the best feature is a spiral staircase that leads to an airy loft with bunk beds and a gaming area that leads to a deck with a partial ocean view. I am looking forward to our next visit.

We had a phenomenal vacation stay. This house was the perfect setting, accommodations and proximity to the beach, dining and shopping. We loved the layout of the house. Ample space for families or multiple adult couples. The amenities were abundant. The house is very modern and each bedroom is a retreat unto itself. The upstairs bonus room/ bedroom is perfect for children. The pool makes leaving the home a difficult choice. You could stay and be totally relaxed and entertained at the house. Having the bikes to get around town and the short walk to the beach are an added bonus. Love the outdoor shower so we could go from beach to pool. It is a quiet oasis! We will be back.

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. There was still some work going on with the landscaping, but everything else was clean, finished and beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the pool and took full advantage of the bikes. It was the shortest walk to the beach too. The kitchen had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the grill as well. All in all, a wonderful vacation!
