6 Beach Arbor

The condo was very comfortable and room for my sons friends for the occasional overnight. Great location with just a couple minutes walk to the beach and Coligny square. Lots to do in a short walk or on the provided bikes. Living room furniture was not the most comfortable but didn’t matter since we did not spend much time on it. Beds were comfortable.

We settled right in to this convenient condo for 6 weeks. It supplied us with everything we needed including a remote work area. We have stayed here before and the internet glitches, but then again we were on an Island.
The washer & dryer could use an upgrade, especially the dryer which took for-e-ver to dry the clothes. Most likely the lint vent is clogged because often the lint trap was empty.
We did notice upgrades since last year, including the new sofa!
All in all, you can't beat this location.. everything we needed to do was either a 10 minute walk, 10 minute bike, or a 10 minute drive!
We love this place and will gladly return!!

We have stayed here several years it’s very clean, close walk to the beach,close to almost everything!
Love our bike rides with the included bikes - it has always been a pleasurable stay!

Highly recommend this unit. You are literally steps from the pool. Walk to the beach was less than 10 minutes and portions of the walk are in the shade. The beach access near this unit was less crowded than the main access at Coligny. The unit was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bikes, chairs, and starter packs of soaps, lotions, shampoos, etc were an added bonus! We had a great week!

The location was close to the Lowcountry Celebration Park in which was idea for walking your dog in the early morning and evening hours. As far as the beach it is about 7 - 9 minutes walk.
The condo has been beautifully updated but the bathrooms have not.

We enjoyed our first vacation to Hilton Head. This condo is in a great location and the bikes are handy, the trails are endless. The pool is not heated, we would have used it more if it was. The condo is dated, but clean overall. Nice being on the first floor, we brought our dog. Pillows need replacing, bring your own!

Dollar for dollar, this place is very strong. Good space, and two baths which is helpful. Decent layout for managing people. Tons of stuff for the beach. Chairs, inflatables, etc. Can walk on Nassau to get to Pope where there are restaurants, shops, etc. Drive to Harris Teeter for groceries is very short. Beach is about a 10-minute walk. Internet worked fine for us the whole week. Very nice presentation when we walked in.

Here are some notes for those making reservations:

1. The bikes are in good condition, but I would bring a small can of lubricant and probably a small wrench just in case. That's all you'll need tho. A couple of tweaks, if that, and you can go anywhere on the island. Considering that the bikes are included, they are very good. About as good as a rental. Of course bikes can always get a flat and if they do you're better off having a pump than relying on them to fix it, but if you stay on the roads and sidewalks it shouldn't come up.

2. When you walk from the condo to the main access point for the beach, go towards the back of the building and walk Tanglewood to Forest Beach. It's much nicer and has shade. Deallyon has very little shade once you get closer to the beach and the walk back in the afternoon is super-hot. Tanglewood and through the back entrance is cooler. Also, the Alder Lane access point to the beach is just slightly farther than the main access point and Alder Lane point is much quieter. Easier to get a spot.

3. Since the place allows pets, it's not going to have great furniture. They would be wasting their money because even well-behaved pets are going to age furniture quickly. It's fine and there are no issues with it at all, but just allow that in your expectations.

4. The water is drinkable, but not great. May want to get some from the store. That's going to be the case with most places.

Honestly, it's the best place I have stayed at for a beach trip. I'd recommend it to anyon

As snowbirds, we spend 1 winter month in HHI per year. This year at 6 Beach Arbor has been our most favorite! It was a bonus to be a 5-minute walk or bike ride to most places that we frequented. Happy to say that we have already booked it for 2024. It is not a highly updated unit but it is certainly is the most practical for us with the best location. We quickly settled in, having all the necessities we needed. We were impressed with the comfortable beds and private setting. The property management was fabulous to respond to us quickly and respectfully! If I had a con, it would be the disappointing WiFi because we were working remotely and lost connection on occasion.
We can't wait to go back again next year to have our daily lunches at pool side and nightly walks on the beach at sunset!!

Found check in and code entry very convenient! Beach chairs and bikes were an awesome touch! Beds were comfy. Short bike ride to Coligny plaza & short walk to the beach with cut through at Sea Side Villas. Bring wagon if you carry a lot of stuff. Reviews are accurate regarding being able to hear the upstairs neighbors walking around their use of water. Master bath could use an update and it was hard to adjust the thermostat. Overall, it was a great value!

I spent a week with my family and my little dog. The house was very clean and cozy. We were next to the pool what was very convenient. The condo is near the beach, around 3 blocks walking, do not need to go to public beaches if you walk through the two buildings pathway for public.
I called the manager for a pizza pan and a baking sheet and the following day I have the manager bringing the pizza pan and 3 sizes of baking sheets.
The only things that I would add are hangers in both closets, clean the drawers and bathroom cabinets. The upstairs floor is squeaky I could hear the guy walking and also his washer and dryer.

Our family of 4 were very comfortable in this updated condo with a good location. We were horrified to find that the sheets were covered in dog hair and stained with blood! Floors appeared to be clean but under area rugs there wears a large amount of crumbs and dog hair. So much for the ‘extra cleaning time due to COVID’. These issues were rectified with a call to property manager who sent a housekeeper with clean sheets the following morning. After that we really enjoyed our stay. Walk to beach access is 15 minutes, not 7. Condo is walking distance to many great restaurants. Pool is adjacent to condo and nicely maintained. Condo complex is very dog friendly. Beds were comfortable.

We loved our week in Beach Arbor #6. The unit was just as described. The AC unit really worked well and kept the unit right at 69 as programmed considering it was 95 and higher each day outside. It was a quick walk to the beach (6-8 minutes). We loved the pet friendly tag with the condo. It was nice being on the first floor and having access to the courtyard area right out the back sliding glass door. The only issue we had all week was a newly formed wasp nest on our back patio. I contacted Island Rentals and they were there within an hour and had it taken care of!

The condo is located within walking distance of restaurants, shops and beautiful beach. It provided everything from beach chairs to bikes. The condo had spacious kitchen and storage space. Nice TVs in all rooms. The cable system was somewhat irritating as they had buffering issues. The living room was very comfortable but the rug should be replaced. Overall it was a great place to stay!

We enjoyed the condo and especially the location. Walks to the beach, Coligny and plenty of biking paths too. While a bit dated and a few maintenance, house amenities concerns (which I provided in separate feedback to property management to address with owner) this was a great one story first floor unit for my family and dogs.

The walk to the beach was easy, and the included beach chairs were the nicest we have ever had in a rental. Bikes were handy for a quick trip to the grocery store!

I love the condo's location! We could easily walk to the beach, to Celebration Park, BiLo and the Piggly Wiggly in Coligny Plaza, and as many restaurants as a person could want. Other restaurants and grocery stores are a short drive. The condo suited our needs, too.

Our experience was really good. The rental company was very responsive when we needed anything, prior to my arrival and during my visit. Loved the layout of the place and it was right next to everything.
Only issue we had was the people above us were EXTREMELY loud. They were very active all the time especially late at night.

This unit in Beach Arbor is the perfect place to stay. The beach, three of the best restaurants on the island, and a fully stocked grocery store are all under a 10 minute walk. Also, there is the newly constructed Lowcountry Celebration Park that will hold live events and entertainment all in the same area. As for the unit itself, it is one of the nicer condos I have ever stayed in. Impeccably clean and roomy. It is nicely furnished as well (the comfort I expect on vacation). If you like to cook, the kitchen layout is fantastic for someone who knows their way around a kitchen, and is fully equipped so you can cook anything you desire.
The thing I love the most about the place is that about 25 feet outside the back patio is the entrance the large inground pool. The area is very quiet, so privacy is a sweetener for this fenced in pool. I'll be renting this spot every year if I can.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. A bonus for us was the beach bikes that came with the rental. We love biking on the beach! I would love to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Overall, we were very pleased with this condo. It was conveniently right next to the pool. Short 5-10 minute walk to the beach, but made much easier with the bikes provided. This was a very nice amenity for getting around Hilton head. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Updated unit, clean. Chairs were provided but wished I would have brought my own as they weren't the most comfortable and one was broken.
My only two issues had nothing to do with the unit or owners. The first was the outdoor garbage can was full of trash piled up on top and next to the can when we arrived. The can is right next to the front door which made it worse. I called the trash company and was told they pick up Tuesday and Friday. They clearly do not pick up Friday as they did not come when we were there. The other issue I had was with the unfriendly maintenance man that pounded on our door at 10:15 rudely telling us we were to be out at 10. In all my experiences renting over the last 25 years I don’t think I’ve ever had such an experience where we were treated in such a manner. We were liters ready to walk out the door when he arrived. I would unlikely rent again simply because of this gentleman’s attitude. Could have handled this in a much nicer manner.

I highly recommend this rental.
Rental company was very easy to work with.
Rental is in a good location to get everything.
The place could have been a little cleaner but not bad. Suggest that you post the quickest way to walk to beach for public access...maybe we missed it.

My family enjoyed our stay at 6 Beach Arbor. It was a great location with an easy walk to the beach. The unit was clean and supplied with everything we needed. I loved the close proximity to the pool and also restaurants, shops. The rental management quickly answered any questions I had and offered an early check in to us as it was available. It was fantastic that my son and daughter-in-law were able to bring their dog along to enjoy the family vacation as well with so many dog friendly places in Hilton Head. I was very pleased and would return again!

We were very happy with our first VRBO rental ever. Loved the location and the amenities and we had zero problems. We would definitely stay here again!

Note: the only thing that I would like the owner to consider is upgrading the sofa. Not a big deal, but it’s seen better days.

Our family really enjoyed our week's stay at 6 Beach Arbor in July 2018. We liked that it was a 1st floor end unit, literally next to the pool, pet friendly, and a very easy walk to the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the overall feel of the condo was pleasant. We were able to walk to Coligny Circle in a short amount of time to dine, shop, and eat ice cream. Several members of our family went on a bike ride with the free bikes that were provided as part of rental's amenities. The owner/rental service provided prompt responses to my questions and sent timely information needed for our stay. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the South Forest Beach area of HHI.
