8 Hilton Head Cabanas

This was in super great spot! Location was wonderful and access to the building was easy and convenient. Unit was well air conditioned and our favorite feature was his comfortable the living room was. Seems to but a little bit of black mold in the upstairs bathroom - so owners may want to look into fixing that and improving ventilation. Would totally book again!

We had a great vacation and the location was excellent!! Only had one minor issue and it was handled immediately. I do like to cook while on vacation and wish the kitchen was better equipped. The walk to the beach and Coligny Park was not far at all. I absolutely would stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! It was one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and just down from shopping and restaurants. The rental had everything we needed and plenty of space for the six of us. The kids loved the pool also. We would and hopefully will stay here in the future.

We’ll definitely be back!! Perfect space for our group (2 adults, 4 kids). Beach access right across the road, an outside space for beach wagon and toys, washing machine and dryer in the unit, and the a/c worked well. The teenagers enjoyed the bikes, the 4 year old enjoyed the kitty pool. Everything was clean… we absolutely loved this spot!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Hilton Head Cabanas 8. It was within walking distance to the beach (prob about 2 blocks) and about 1/2 mile to Coligny Souvenir shops and restaurants....which we really enjoyed. The condo was very clean and very clear instructions for everything. My boys loved having their own room and the stairs. Would stay again!

Nice place and terrific bargain. This complex originated in about 1968. There are still 2 original owners. The 68 units form an enclosure around an open courtyard with a very nice, fenced pool (and 1-foot kiddie pool). Quiet, family-type vacation community vibe. The two-story condo is comfortable and spacious. Upstairs bedrooms are nice, sharing full bathroom. Half bath down. Nice little kitchen with washer/dryer adjoining attractive living space. Comfortable furniture. Good TV. Nice flooring. Strong A/C. Considerate, professional hosting - volunteered free early check-in and offered modestly priced late check-out. The host texts and seems available for concerns but we had none. I rented last minute and short-cut my usual adherence to review history - glad I did. This super-host brought excellence to the property. Note: walk to great beach is about 12 minutes because the properties across the street (right on the beach) don't permit access so you need to walk about 4 blocks down.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time we have stayed at Hilton Head Cabanas. We love the location. So close to the beach. HHC8 had many additional options that we loved including the bikes and beach chairs. The property manager was very easy to work with and was able to assist quickly when we contacted them with two questions. We would be willing to stay there again!

We loved staying at Hilton Head. It was our first time here. This property was as advertised and perfect for the 4 adults and 2 kids in our party! Excellent location right across the street from the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Place is in a great location. Big enough for our family of 5. Friendly neighbors. Literally rode bike everywhere and the beach is directly across the street, walking distance.. Overall we were very happy with the place. A few minor things:
1. They need a bike pump at the property. One of the included bikes had a flat and took a day to resolve. The others needed air. Simple fix, provide a pump to the guests
2. Needs a water hose.
3. The provided beach chairs were nice to have but three of the 4 had broken backpack straps so they were tough to carry. Time for new ones.
I do recommend the place and would book it again.
